They do not have tannic astringency and their aromatic complexity is therefore fabulous!

Catalog Autumn-Winter
2018-2019

Until August 2012, only the cultivation of grapes was certified organic (free of synthetic products) after a 3-year conversion period. Since then, from the 2012 vintage onwards, the sulphur dioxide content of wines has also been monitored in order to obtain the European label "organic wine".

Only wines bearing the European label on their labels are indicated to you as such on our website.

Other labels exist (Demeter, Biodyvin, Nature et Progrès...). These have more demanding specifications than organic farming but are not recognised by public agencies.

Ten years after her installation (2007) at the Domaine de Cébène (11 ha), Brigitte Chevalier has fully succeeded in her challenge: to reveal the purity, complexity and tannic finesse of her schist terraces in the north of the Faugères appellation, through gentle and attentive viticulture. "Like Clos Manou in the Médoc" as Mr. Quarin wrote.

Falling in love with this clay and limestone soil of 15 hectares north of the Pic Saint-Loup, Mr Jéquier, a Swiss architect, acquired it in 1998 with the desire to produce great fresh and nuanced Languedoc vintages in biodynamic conditions, in a more northern than southern spirit. The progress made in less than 20 years is impressive, with Parker's nomination of Mas Foulaquier as one of the 13 best producers in Languedoc.

The Chouette Blanche is a dry white wine, a blend of a pleiad of grape varieties (white grenache, clairette, rolle and bourboulenc), vinified and matured in barrels.

The story of Luca d'Attoma in Tuscany is the same as that of Stéphane Derenoncourt in Bordeaux. First of all, Luca d'Attoma is one of the most famous oenologists in Italy for having worked since 1991 as a consultant in mythical fields such as Tua Rita or Macchiole. In 2000, he decided to create his own vineyard, Duemani, which quickly became a cult in Tuscany. The 7 ha cover a natural amphitheatre 9 km from the Mediterranean, facing west, with very low fertility soil (clay and stone). Integral biodynamic cultivation (Demeter).

Altrovino, 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Merlot, matured in vats. Black fruit oriented, a luxurious and extroverted wine.

Duemani, 100% Cabernet Franc, aged in barrels (50% new). At the antipodes of Suisassi, Duemani is a more intellectual wine, based on a firm tannic structure, built for ageing. Its aromatic complexity and refinement will eventually make it a great bottle for this 2010, deserving much better than the 93/100 awarded today by Wine Advocate.
