Full-bodied, fat and with a characteristic vanilla woody taste, the dry white wine of Lynch-Bages plays the charm and fabric card. Less than 2000 cases produced each year, far insufficient for global success.
Quarin : 90/100 « Nez très aromatique, au fruité mûr, sentant bon le sauvignon. Bouche délicieuse, au corps fondant et savoureux, au toucher gras et néanmoins parfumé. Longueur normale. »
Galloni (Vinous) : 92/100 « The 2020 Blanc de Lynch Bages is terrific. I am not always a fan of the Blanc, as I often find it too tropical, but the 2020 has more than enough verve and overall freshness to balance things out. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years. »
Martin (Vinous) : 89/100 « The palate is well balanced; the 20% Sémillon transcending its “bit part” in the blend by furnishing this white Bordeaux with a slightly honeyed texture and subtle tropical notes of white peach and passion fruit. This is all counterbalanced by a fine bead of acidity, and though it does not possess enormous length, there is a precision that is very appealing. »
