Since its acquisition in 1998 by Mr. De Neipperg (Clos de l'Oratoire, Canon-La Gaffelière, La Mondotte), d'Aiguilhe has been part of the new generation of very ambitious wines that bring the appellation of the Côtes de Castillon to a new level. It has just won a second star in the 2023 guide of the Revue du Vin de France.
Revue du Vin de France : 92-93/100 « Vin au fruit radieux (fraise à la menthe). La densité des tanins est parfaite. Une belle énergie pour une personnalité séduisante. »
Bettane & Desseauve : 89-90/100
Galloni (Vinous) : 89-91/100 « I very much like the nervous energy. There's fine potential here. »
Martin (Vinous) : 88-90/100 « A lighter style of this Castillon, linear yet balanced, with a touch of white pepper on the finish. »
