Although very famous in the nineteenth century (vineyards adjoin those of Ch. Cantemerle), Belle-Vue no longer existed since 1936. Restored in 1996, Belle-Vue is a rising star of southern Medoc. Happy marriage between a high proportion (20%), Petit Verdot, for an explosive fruity, and careful breeding. Mrs. Mulliez implementation continues with the work of her late husband (too young) in 2010.

"Château Belle-Vue is next to the Cantemerle plots. The soil alternates clay and gravel, the vines are strongly marked by the Petit Verdot[20%]. The latest vintages confirm the full shape of this cru bourgeois, long considered as a rising value, and now equal to the classified vintages. The wines, of a modern style, with fruit and nice potential, are also accessible quite quickly. "Favourite in the 2017 guide, noted 16/20 in the 2019 guide. 13°5 of alcohol.

Beautiful initiative of Belle-Vue (Haut-Médoc), which since 2016 has been making an original cuvée, 100% petit verdot, with its oldest vines (77 years and over) of this wonderful fruity and late variety (hence its name), adapted to global warming.
