Château BEAUSÉJOUR-HDL 1er grand cru classé 2011 bottle 75cl

A small jewel of 6.8 hectares in one piece, perched at the top of the hillside following Ausone, Belair-Monange and in front of Canon, Beauséjour Duffau-Lagarosse remains the most discreet of the 1st growths. However, along with Ausone, it is certainly the purest, most subtle and most delicate expression of the entire Saint-Emilion hillside. Its last vintages (under the leadership of the tandem Thienpont-Derenoncourt since 2009) recall its famous 1990.

(Nov. 2020)
