Roundness, suppleness and depth of flesh are the hallmarks of the consensual red wines produced in Larrivet Haut-Brion, advised by Mr. Rolland until 2014 and then by Mr. Derenoncourt. No link between Larrivet (in Léognan) and Haut-Brion (in Pessac).
The vintage 2020 is rated 92/100 by le Guide Bettane et Desseauve 2024
Known to produce Léognan's most voluminous and expressive white wine, Larrivet Haut-Brion has gained in freshness, precision and aromatic complexity since the arrival of Mr Lemoine (cellar master from Montrose), advised by Mr Derenoncourt, and vinifications in ovoid vats.
The 2021 vintage is rated 92/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin "Pale yellow colour. Intense nose of fresh, ripe fruit, pure and subtle, developing a hint of hazelnut and peach as the glass is shaken. Meticulous on the entry, very aromatic in the middle and above all very well constructed, with a fat touch, the wine melts on the palate, very fruity and less woody than is often the case at this age. The finish is long and sappy. Dense and meticulous. A great success". (April 2022)

Rated 90/100 by N. Martin « The 2020 Larrivet Haut-Brion (white) has a lovely bouquet with scents of honeysuckle, jasmine, melon and light lemon verbena aromas. The aok is nicely integrated here. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh, lively with pretty peachy notes surfacing towards the finish. Delightful, if early-drinking white Pessac.» (December 2022)

Rated 95/100 by Antonio Galloni after bottling « The 2017 Larrivet Haut-Brion is a seriously impressive wine. Bold, rich and intense, the 2017 exudes tremendous depth and intensity. » (March 2020)
» (Oct. 2020)
