Depuis sa reprise en 1998 par M. De Neipperg (Clos de l'Oratoire, Canon-La Gaffelière, La Mondotte), d'Aiguilhe fait partie de la nouvelle génération de crus très ambitieux qui portent l'appellation des Côtes de Castillon à un niveau jamais atteint.
Galloni (Vinous) : 88-90/100 « The 2019 d'Aiguilhe is classy and understated to the core. [...] Quite surprisingly for the year, d'Aiguilhe is pretty tightly wound and in no mood to show all of its cards. Even so, there is good depth and plenty of promise. »
Martin (Vinous) : 91-93/100 « The palate has a spring in its step with fresh red berry fruit, cedar, mint and a citric twist right on the finish. What a delicious d'Aiguilhe, even if I still cannot pronounce its name. »
