Vieux Château Certan est certainement, avec une proportion importante de cabernet franc (30% en moyenne), le cru de Pomerol le plus classique, ferme et distingué. Il n’a pas le moelleux et le charme immédiat d’autres grands Pomerol, mais tient toujours toutes ces promesses au vieillissement. Très grande classe !

Moins explosif, moins sculptural que l’herculéen 2018, 2019 offre une sapidité et un charnu absolument remarquables, son caractère solaire se résolvant presque miraculeusement en une impression de fraîcheur florale. »
