Second wine from Château Haut-Bailly

The second wine of Haut-Bailly, called La Parde de Haut-Bailly until 2018. In the same style as its big brother, all restraint and finesse, and increasingly charming thanks to an increased proportion of Merlot since 2010.

Quarin : 93/100 « Nez intense, fruité, pur et bien mûr. Gras dès l'entrée en bouche, plein au milieu, avec un corps fondant, le vin caresse le palais, charmeur et puissant à la fois. Très belle finale profonde, savoureuse et sans angle. Une grande réussite. »
Galloni : 91-93/100 « The 2022 Haut-Bailly II is bright, fresh and vibrant, almost surprisingly so for such a torrid vintage. Medium in body and gracious, the 2022 is all class. This is beautifully done. »
Martin : 90-92/100 « The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine acidity and moderate depth. There is a cracked black pepper dash toward a finish that is reserved at the moment and will open once in bottle. It has real personality. »
