With near-maniacal intransigence at every stage of its development, the Bonnie family delights us with each vintage with its white wine, very Sauvignon (80 to 90%), combining energy, supreme finesse and exemplary straightness.

Rated 92/100 by Antonio Galloni (Vinous) « The 2018 Malartic-Lagravière Blanc offers a good bit of precision to play off the natural radiance of the year. [...] This is very nicely done. » (April 2021)

» (Avr. 2020)

The 2018 vintage is rated 93/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin "Dark red colour. Intense. Intense, fresh, fruity, ripe, complex and deep nose. Ample on the attack, juicy on the mid-palate, very tasty in the middle and a tad austere, the wine evolves towards a slightly spicy finish. Good length." (September 2021)

Rated 93/100 by the Revue du Vin de France "Dense, velvety, keeping a beautiful balance, built on long, silky, accomplished tannins, with a well-integrated alcoholic generosity. Long ageing potential". (Nov. 2020)

Rated 94/100 by En Magnum "Skilfully vinified with a slight lightening of the tannin, which is in line with the search for more immediate elegance, finely spiced, very typical of Léognan, fresh and delicate finish. More than ever, Malartic is one of the must-haves of the appellation ". (Apr. 2020)

Rated 92/100 by Neal Martin « a lithe Pessac-Léognan with soft blackberry, red plum and redcurrant fruit laced with clove and white pepper towards the finish. Not a wine of astonishing complexity, but elegant and satisfying persistence. Enjoy this over the next 15 years, possibly longer. » (Feb. 2020)

» (Oct. 2020)

The 2016 vintage is rated 94/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin "Dark, intense and beautiful colour. The nose is moderately intense, with ripe fruit and a hint of the right bank. A hint of pinewood adds to the overall freshness. Smooth and melt-in-the-mouth from the outset, the wine develops a juicy, fragrant mid-palate, with a hint of resin in its flavour. It evolves fat, deep, with flavour, flesh and fine tannins." (February 2019)

Rated 95/100 by N.Martin " The 2016 Malartic-Lagravière has a wonderful bouquet of perfumed, mainly red fruit laced with potpourri, black olive tapenade and light brine-like aromas - a bouquet full of personality. The fresh, harmonious palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine bead of acidity and just the right amount of salinity toward the loam-tinged finish. Bon vin from the bonnies. " (january 2019)
