bottle 75cl: 39,50 € incl. VATbottle 75cl

On a magnificent gravelly hillock that has nothing to envy that of its neighbour Montrose, Meyney (Crédit Agricole property) is a serious candidate for the title of best Médoc bourgeois cru in each vintage. Rated 92/100 by N. MARTIN « The 2020 Meyney has a very estuarine infused bouquet insofar that you could imagine looking out over the Gironde estuary on some overcast winter's day. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, very well balanced with an elegant bead of acidity. Plenty of freshness and focus towards the finish, this is a splendid  Meyney that continues it good run of form.» (December 2022)

The 2020 vintage is rated 95/100 by La Revue du Vin de France "The wine is solidly constituted but also very racy, and finds its balance. It has a lot of substance and superb definition of tannins that harmonise on the finish". (September 2023)

The 2020 vintage is rated 92/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin "Dark, intense, purple and young colour. The nose is moderately aromatic, with ripe, pure fruit. Delicate on the palate, very aromatic in the middle, the wine melts on the palate, with a delicate touch and a rather discreet presence. The finish is seductive and more perfumed than in other vintages". (June 2023)

The 2019 vintage is rated 91/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin « Nez très aromatique, fin, fruité, pur et subtil.

(December 2022)
