Château REYNON Red 2023 Futures

Denis Dubourdieu (deceased in 2016), known for the quality' of his whites, was concerned to produce in his Château Reynon (80% Merlot) a balanced and charming red wine, favouring fresh fruit and silky tannins.

Galloni : 89-91/100 « The 2023 Reynon is a terrific entry-level offering from the Dubourdieu family. Crushed red berry fruit, spice, pomegranate, menthol and blood orange are nicely pushed forward. All the elements are so well balanced. Reynon is consistently delicious and also a great value. I would be very happy to own a case of this. »
Martin : 87-89/100 « The 2023 Reynon has a pleasant raspberry- and blackcurrant-scented bouquet, becoming more floral in the glass- quite "playful." The palate is medium-bodied with smooth tannins and well-judged acidity. It's a little oaky on the mid- palate, and there is just a touch of heat on the finish that detracts from its precision. »
