Dark red-toned fruit, lavender, mocha, spice and licorice open beautifully. The 2025 impresses with its captivating energy, finely sketched details and sublime balance. Magnificent."

La Revue du Vin de France : 93-95/100 "The style is crisp, in keeping with recent vintages, with a hint of minerality. The focus is on the blue clay rather than the fruit. The creamy Merlot on the attack gives way to a medium-bodied wine characterised by a clay-like texture rather than fruit, with a subtle tannic grip resulting from ‘marked’ water stress.”

Juicy on the attack, melting on the palate, with a touch of austerity; the wine develops into a juicy, long-finishing wine that retains its richness right to the end.”

Martin): 90-92/100 “The 2025 Gazin [...] has a perfumed nose, well defined, with touches of oyster shell emerging with time and combining with the black fruit, remaining quite classical and old school in style. The palate is medium-bodied with ample weight. Rounded and pliant tannins, hints of truffle towards the finish, which just needs a little more grip. This will be one of the more approachable vintages from this Pomerol stalwart.”
