Since the 2023 vintage, Doisy-Daëne has been making a confidential cuvée (1,200 bottles) from its oldest Semillon vines, planted on the limestone plateau of Barsac. Entirely vinified in barrels, this 100% Semillon on limestone is an intense, straightforward wine, with intense aromas of vine peach and a lovely sapid freshness on the finish.

    See the data sheet

Vinous (A. Galloni): 94-96/100 "The 2024 Blanc sec Sémillon syr Calcaire is another mind-blowing dry white from Doisy-Daëne. Rich, creamy and ample, with all the freshness and brilliance conferred by the limestone soils of Barsac, the Sémillon sur Calcaire is positively stellar. Orchard fruit, apricot, white flowers, salt and white truffle build into the resonant, palate-staining finish. This is world-class all the way. Stated simply, Doisy-Daëne's Sémillon sur Calcaire is a new reference point for dry white in Bordeaux."

Vinous (N. Martin): 89-91/100 "The 2024 Sémillon Sur Calcaire has a more complex and, as you might expect, limestone-influenced bouquet compared to the Doisy-Daëne Grand Vin Sec, with touches of grass clippings and light patisserie aromas on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a brisk opening. It has fine depth with a slightly oily texture, although this needs a little more complexity to come through on the finish. I am intrigued to see how it will show once in bottle."

Started in 2003, the Clos Louie adventure is a textbook case: a dolly vineyard (2.3 ha) on a beautiful clay-limestone terroir of Castillon, careful biodynamic cultivation, double manual sorting during the harvest, low-intervention vinification, gentle maturation in 500-litre demi-muids.

Louison et Léopoldine is the other Clos Louie wine, a tribute to Cabernet Franc (80%) from 50-year-old vines. Clean, bright fruit and remarkable aromatic freshness: a real nugget!

Labégorce was born of the merger of Châteaux Labégorce and Labégorce-Zédé, brought together under a single entity by the Perrodo family (Tour de Mons, Marquis d'Alesme). Since 1989, every effort has been made to produce a Margaux that is harmonious, charming and brilliantly fruity.

    See the technical sheet

Vinous (A. Galloni): 90-92/100 "The 2024 Labégorce is laced with succulent dark cherry fruit, mocha, new leather, espresso and licorice. Copious new oak works well for this wine. Labégorce offers quite a bit of immediacy in a pliant, flamboyant style."

Vinous (N. Martin): 90-92/100 "The 2024 Labégorce has a nicely poised bouquet with crushed violet-tinged black fruit. The oak is nicely integrated in this Labégorce, a little "fuller" than its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. The 2024's fine backbone lends sastifying grips and weight, even if it doesn't quite have the complexity of the best recent vintages. It might well improve by the time of bottling."

In 2004, Jean-Michel Chartron gave a new impetus to the family estate, with the chance to have an extraordinary land heritage (the Clos des Chevaliers is the best part of the Chevalier-Montrachet, itself considered the best grand cru in Puligny after Montrachet). Mineral, nervous, powerful and long, its wines are among the greatest in Puligny. Rated one star in the Revue du Vin de France guide.

Appointment : Jean-Michel Chartron was doubly elected "Winegrower of the Year": in the magazine "Bourgogne Aujourd'hui" in March 2018 and in the Hachette guide in September 2018.

Vinous (N. Martin): 88-90/100 "The 2024 Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc comprises five barrels this year. Lemon curd and light orange pith scents on the nose, this has a little more depth than the previous vintage. The palate is quite flinty on the entry. Bright acidity, plenty of energy, this should drink well for several years."

In 2004, Jean-Michel Chartron gave new impetus to the family domaine, blessed with an extraordinary land heritage (Clos des Chevaliers is the best part of Chevalier-Montrachet, itself considered the best climat in Puligny after Montrachet). The estate's 14.5 hectares have been farmed organically (without certification) ever since.

Mineral, nervous, powerful and long, with a crystalline purity, its wines are among Puligny's finest.

Vinous (N. Martin): 89-91/100 "The 2024 Chassagne-Montrachet Villages has a delineated bouquet with assiduous use of oak. Just the faintest reduction at play. The palate is fresh and crisp with citrus peel, orange pith and a little spice. Very pretty, very elegant with a nicely focused finish this punches above its weight."

Bourgogne Aujourd’hui (August–September 2025): 89/100  “Made from 60-year-old vines, this cuvée reveals delicate, lemony and floral aromas... The wine has body, fleshiness, flavours of ripe fruit and a lovely length. Promising!”

Vinous (N. Martin): 92-94/100 "The 2024 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru comprises four barrels this year. Harvested a little later, it has a touch more tropical tones on the nose yet there is still admirable mineralité and tension. The palate is vibrant on the entry, quite strict and linear, more malic on the palate than on the nose with a dash of spice that comes through on the finish. Good potential, though in some ways quite uncompromising."

A leader in the Marsannay appellation, the Domaine Fournier offers wine lovers a rare opportunity to purchase fine Pinot Noir wines from the northern Côte de Nuits at reasonable prices. With 21 hectares, including 17 hectares in Marsannay, this estate produces exciting wines with deep colour, full-bodied and intense, always balancing richness and freshness, indulgence and finesse.

Awarded one star in the Revue du Vin de France guide and listed among the properties to watch in the Bettane & Desseauve guide: ‘Laurent Fournier, with his humour, intelligence and delicacy, is one of the most brilliant talents of the new Burgundian generation.’

Vinous (N. Martin): 87-89/100 "The 2024 Bourgogne Aligoté Cuvée Saint-Urbain contains fruit from Aux Boutières this year [0.8-acre vineyard in Marsannay] this year, matured in stainless steel. This has a vigorous nose with touches of yellow plum, pithy pear and honeysuckle scents. Fine delineation. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bread of acidity, taut and linear, perhaps just missing a bit of chutzpah on the finish but it is a decent Aligoté that will give four or five year's drinking pleasure."
