The 2021 vintage is rated 92/100 by A. Galloni "Deyrem Valentin 2021 is a powerful, earthy Margaux. It has very good density, with savoury notes of worn leather, spice, tobacco, grilled herbs and scorched earth. It's not exactly an elegant expression of Margaux, but there's good depth, which makes me optimistic." (February 2024)
Also rated 90/100 by N. Martin "The 2021 Deyrem Valentin should be considered a success for the vintage. It has a loamy bouquet that complements the black fruit and hints of dark chocolate-not powerfull yet nicely defined, alomost Saint-Julien like in style. The palate is medium-bodied with black plummy fruit and (again) a touch of dark chocolate. There is a patina of oak to be assimilated toward the fresh finish, so give this Margaux another couple of years in bottle" (February 2024)
