Beautiful vineyard of 10 ha (90% Merlot) in Fronsac, where the owner, Mrs. Rullier, invests herself without counting. We find his energy in Dalem, with wines, full and assertive but also endowed with a real elegance.
Rated 93/100 by N. Martin «The 2020 Dalem, the first vintage under the consultancy of Eric Boissenot, has a tertiary, sous-bois infused bouquet with a mixture of red and black fruit, discrete at first but opening beautifully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, citrus-fresh with impressive focus, gradually building towards the clean and precise finish. This is a top-notch Fronsac that will give pleasure for 20-25 years.» (December 2022)
The 2020 vintage is rated 91/100 by the Revue du Vin de France "It has a smoothly structured body, expressing ripe black fruit. Tasty tannins give it a pleasant structure". (Guide 2024)
Rated 93/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin "Dark, intense, young colour. Very aromatic nose, fruity, fresh, ripe and subtle. Hints of flowers and red fruit. The palate is a mellow, suave world of aromas, with a sparkle in the middle. Very pretty, delicious, long finish with a very coated texture. Good length." (March 2023)

The 2021 vintage in the press:
La Revue du Vin de France (Guide 2025): 90/100 “True to its fine, slender style, Dalem stands out for its measured balance, nicely liquoriced and fruity.”
Vinous (N. Martin - February 2024): 90/100 “The 2021 Dalem is particularly seductive. Succulent notes of black cherry, rose petal, spice, blood orange, mint and cinnamon unfold effortlessly. I'd prefer to drink it over the next few years, while the fruit is still bursting.”
Jean-Marc Quarin (April 2022): 90/100 “Dark, bright color. Moderately intense nose, with precise fruitiness. Aromatic. Delicate on the entry, very aromatic in the middle and above all very well constructed, the wine stretches out on the finish, pleasant and fragrant, without an ounce of tannin. It's very good.”

Rated 92/100 by Neal Martin « The 2017 Dalem is vinified without SO2 [...] It has a clean and precise bouquet with perfumed blackberry and freshly picked mint aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins. One of the most elegant Dalem wines that I have tasted in recent years with a clean and precise finish that is top drawer. » (Feb. 2020)
Rated 90/100 by Jean-Marc Quarin « La bouche brille de par son éclat aromatique, son caractère juteux, sa structure fondante, sa finale parfumée, sans aucune dureté tannique. C’est très bon. » (Oct. 2020)
