Clarendon Blanc and Premier Rôle (single-vineyard selection) are made from 100 per cent Rolle (the Provençal name for Vermentino), aged in stoneware jars to preserve the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit (pear, pineapple, aniseed...). These great white wines are capable of ageing beautifully for 10 years or more, developing noble bitterness with petrol-like nuances.
