A 4 ha plot selection from Château Rigaud, La Mauriane is not yet another luxurious cuvée on the right bank but a wine built on fine grain tannins where the brilliance and precision of the fruit prevail. A true gem in the right bank !

The 2023 vintage in the press:

JM Quarin (March 2026): 93/100 "Dark red color, purple, with black highlights. Intense nose with ripe fruit and truffle notes. Sunny touch. Vanilla notes develop in the glass. Meticulous on the palate, fleshy and flavorful, the wine develops slowly with class. It melts on the finish with delicate chalky flavors and fine tannins accompanied by a hint of blackberries. Very good."
