Clos des Lambrays Grand cru red

A grand cru with an almost monopoly, Clos des Lambrays is one of the best exposed terroirs on the Côte de Nuits, combining the power of a Chambertin with the velvety character of a Bonnes-Mares. Bought in 2014 by L.V.M.H. and still rated three stars in the Revue du Vin de France guide.

The 2021 vintage is a coup ♥ in the Revue du Vin de France 2024 Guide, rated 97/100 "With its sharp flavours, the attack has tension, supporting a magnificent full and dynamic flesh where liquorice and noble earthy flavours make up a tasty and distinguished whole, without the slightest hardness."

Rated 97/100 by N.Martin "The Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru 2021 continues to impress [...]. The palate is medium-bodied, with a fresh, perfectly balanced entry. Notes of cedar and sage develop, the tannins are softer than when I tasted this wine in cask, and the finish is spicy. Remarkable."
