Known for producing a full-bodied, expressive, even exuberant white wine, Larrivet Haut-Brion has gained freshness and tension in recent vintages, thanks to its new vat room incorporating smaller containers (including 20% concrete eggs). Its young director, Charlotte Mignon, has also undertaken a major agroforestry project in the vineyard to promote biodiversity and protect the vines from global warming.

Vinous (A. Galloni) : 92-94/100 "The 2025 Larrivet Haul-Brion Blanc is one of the most unique, extroverted whites in Bordeaux. Baked apple tart, candied ginger, pear and buttery Chassagne-like overtones blossom, conveying fons of nuance and character. This is impeccably done."
Bettane+Desseauve : 93/100 “With powerful fruity, floral, smoky and mineral notes, it retains its vigour despite a full-bodied and generous palate. A lovely lingering aroma with a lively finish.”
La Revue du Vin de France : 92-93/100 “A truly distinctive wine, this one captivates with its creamy texture combined with a lovely liveliness. The balance between richness and freshness is well-structured. The ageing, which is still noticeable, brings vanilla notes to the finish; these are slightly dominant at this stage but should mellow over time to allow the fruit to fully express itself.”
Vinous (N. Martin) : 89-91/100 "The 2025 Larrivet Haut-Brion Blanc has a vibrant nose with citrus peel, lime and stony scents, well defined and with better vigour than I was expecting. The palate is well balanced with a peppery entry, fine acidity and texture. It just lacks a bit of complexity and grip on the finish; otherwise it will drink well for the next decade."
