From 2005, La Dominique, prestigious terroir adjacent to Cheval Blanc, L'Évangile and La Conseillante, returns in great shape. His velvety and sensual style places him halfway between Saint-Émilion and Pomerol : “the tannin texture is very Pomerol-like, then the silky, floral, firm follow-through continues with the class of the great Saint-Emilions” (Bettane & Desseauve).

Vinous (A. Galloni) : 94-96/100 « The 2025 La Dominique is terrific. This is one of the best vintages of La Dominique | can remember fasting. Aromatic, silky and exceptionally polished, La Dominique impresses right out of the gate. Bracing saline notes extend the clean, reverberating finish. A sleeper. »

Bettane+Desseauve : 94/100 "Floral notes accompany a smooth, well-balanced palate with a long finish and just the right amount of persistence."

Vinous (N. Martin) : 92-94/100 « The 2025 La Dominique is a significant step up from the Deuxieme Vin this year: vivid red and black fruit, a touch of cedar and a more floral style, with violet and iris flowers. Fine delineation. The polate is well balanced, with rounded, velvety tannins, good depth and a judicious touch of white pepper sprinkled over the finish. This should drink well for 15 to 20 years »

J-M Quarin : 92/100 « A beautiful, deep, intense red. A very aromatic nose with subtle, ripe fruit notes. A creamy touch when swirled in the glass. Delicate on the palate at first, particularly flavorful in the mid-palate, with a touch of firmness as it unfolds; the wine nevertheless evolves into a smooth, lingering finish. »
