J-M Quarin : 98/100 “Full-bodied on the attack, rich and complex on the palate, with plenty of flavour and a refined texture, the wine develops slowly with a velvety mouthfeel. It finishes with increasing depth, noble, profound and flavourful, with a long, lingering finish of violets. A sumptuous success.”

The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, impressive weight, quite peppery and tensile; this maintains density and grip through to the long finish.
