The 2019 vintage is rated 89/100 by Neal Martin “The 2019 Les Arums de Lagrange, the white cuvée from the Saint-Julien estate, offers attractive lime and yellow flower scents, a touch of almond in the background. The palate is nicely balanced with a dab of lemongrass on the entry. Moderate weight with discrete tropical notes sing from the wings on the finish.” (May 2020)

The 2021 vintage in the press:

J-M Quarin (April 2022): 92/100 “Beautiful deep, dark color. Very aromatic nose, fine, fruity, fresh and ripe. Soft on the entry, juicy in the middle and as always very tasty, the wine caresses the palate, bursting with fruit. It finishes long, with a hint of ink and fleshy tannins. Very good."

The 2020 vintage in the press:

Bettane et Desseauve (Guide 2024): 94/100

Vinous (N. Martin - December 2022): 94/100 “The bouquet is delicious and precise, with mineral notes of black fruits, touches of undergrowth and a subtle influence of the sea and oyster shell. The palate is detailed and mineral, very pure and harmonious, with a blend of red and black fruits, silky and impressively deep. This is quintessential Larange, very seductive and I bet it will be underrated by some. Not me.”

Vinous (N. Martin - February 2022): 95/100 “The palate is soft, fresh and vibrant, with great depth, perfectly measured acidity and a brilliantly concentrated finish. Winemaker Mathieu Bordes has crafted the best Lagrange of recent years, a benchmark for the estate.”
