Second wine from Château Margaux

By the quality of the selections, and the creation of a 3rd wine from 2009, Pavillon Rouge would have easily been considered as the Great Wine of Château Margaux only 20 years ago.

J-M Quarin: 94/100 “Intense, dark color. Very aromatic nose, fine, pure, with ripe fruit. Slightly smoky Cabernet Sauvignon touches. Smells so good when the glass is shaken! Subtle, airy, melt-in-the-mouth mouthfeel, with an unbelievable gracefulness of touch. This is one of Pavillon Rouge's highest Cabernet content and, for the first time, the highest Cabernet Franc content.” (April 2025)
