In 2004, Jean-Michel Chartron gave new impetus to the family domaine, blessed with an extraordinary land heritage (Clos des Chevaliers is the best part of Chevalier-Montrachet, itself considered the best climat in Puligny after Montrachet). The estate's 14.5 hectares have been farmed organically (without certification) ever since.
Mineral, nervous, powerful and long, with a crystalline purity, its wines are among Puligny's finest.
Bourgogne Aujourd’hui (April–May 2026): 90/100 “A rich nose, blending citrus, yellow fruit and a hint of florals. Fresh, lemony and full-bodied on the palate, with a lovely length, a rich, elegant and invigorating texture. ‘A wine with a bright future,’ concludes one taster.”
Vinous (N. Martin): 90-92/100 "The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Clos de la Pucelle 1er Cru was coming out to play when I visited the Domaine, the nose obstinate and backward. The palate is crisp on the entry, quite malic with cooking apple and notes of pear, moderate depth and a dash of spice on the finish. Fine, but it needs to find its groove."
