The Latour-Martillac white wine is aromatic, straightforward and has excellent ageing potential. It is one of the most consistent and interesting wines in the appellation, and holds up formidably well to ageing (10 years or more).
Bettane+Desseauve : 94-95/100 “Refined and complex, with notes of white fruit, hawthorn and minerality in an elegant expression. The full-bodied, lingering texture retains remarkable liveliness. Full of character.”
La Revue du Vin de France : 93-95/100 “Distinctive and perfectly defined, this wine brilliantly combines tension and fullness. The attack, lively and precise, opens onto a mid-palate with lovely volume and a luscious texture. The development on the palate is dynamic, gaining in intensity and depth. The whole, complete and structured, concludes with a vibrant, energetic and promising finish.”
Vinous (N. Martin) : 93-95/100 "The 2025 Latour-Martillac Blanc plays with a light reduction on the nose, quite mineral, with touches of sea spray coming through with time. The palate is well balanced and cohesive, with fine acidity, one of the most complex whites from this Pessac-Léognan estate that I have encountered, and it lingers on the saline finish. Bravo."
Vinous (A. Galloni) : 85-87/100 "The 2025 Latour-Martillac Blanc shows good energy and drive, but falls short on the mid-palate, which accentuates the attenuated finish. It would be nice to see more mid-palate depth."
