The philosophy of Domaine Desvignes is simple: respect tradition. Hence a culture without weedkillers, "old-fashioned" vinification and rather long maturations in cement vats only. The result is great structured morgons with a subtle and accomplished structure, and a keeping capacity worthy of the great Burgundies (10 years and more).

Vinous (N. Martin - March 2023): 93/100 “The 2022 Morgon Les Impénitents Javernières is an homage to Louis Claude (coined by French wine writer Michel Bettane) and debuted with the 2009 vintage. It comes from very old vines planted in 1912, just after phylloxera. The bouquet is easily the most floral amongst the range with wiltred rose petal, lavender and iris flower, beautifully defined and utterly seductive. Nothing protrudes from this well-balanced Condrieu".
